CA Stuff ... we are down to the nitty and the gritty.

I did offer a few suggestions to students after finishing tweaking their newspapers.

Getting a job or working on volunteer hours might need a resume. A summer school course or even taking First Aid would be a great way to get something out of this summer, too.

I had to move heaven and Earth to get this document on this blog today.

It's weird ... it's Monday and nothing is quite working. Must need coffee or something.

The entire day just needs coffee.

This is what happened to the teacher today ... rescued from floating away.

I also helped two students clean out their emails ... one had 65 emails from their teacher just sitting there. I was sad ... stuff like that gives me the willies. One student is now fascinated by how I was able to change his Google profile pic, too.

Anyway, we worked together to get the next part of our CA done ... that would be the two opinion pieces of writing.

And ... I smile.

So we worked on the opinion piece today. Some are nearly done, others are playing a little catch up.

The work continues tomorrow ... Do a film review of the film Tuesdays with Morrie to be included in your CA

Happy 2019!

Today we started off nice and slow with working with a news paper article about the Toronto Raptors winning over the weeekend.

We did the W5H chart for the article and previewed a bit for tomorrow.

I did hand back all material I had marked and recorded for this class. I'll have updated marks by the end of the week.
