We did the Grade level presentation in the gym with the admin team from the school.

After that we got back to the class and took up the questions on the story from yesterday.

Then we read the story Thank you Ma'am ... and the questions are here:

Thank you ma’am Questions

1. So why did the kid want the pocketbook in the first place?

2. Why, do you think, the woman brought the boy home with her?

3. Do a character sketch of the woman, Mrs Jones.

4. What does she tell the boy about herself?

5. At the end of the story, the boy wanted to say something other than “Thank you

ma’am”. What do you think he also wanted to say? Why do you think he couldn’t

say it?
